The New York Yankees have been eagerly anticipating the return of their star slugger, Aaron Judge, who has been sidelined since June 3 due to a right great toe sprain. As of the latest updates, there is a possibility that Judge could return to the lineup right after the All-Star break, which would be a significant boost for the team.

The team has faced difficulties without Judge in the lineup, managing a .710 OPS, which is 20th in the league. They have particularly struggled against right-handed pitchers, with a .229/.294/.402 batting line. Judge’s return would significantly enhance their offense, as he had a stellar season last year with 61 home runs and 131 RBIs, and this year he has already hit 19 home runs with 40 RBIs in just 49 games.

Manager Aaron Boone has been tight-lipped about Judge’s potential return, but Bret Boone, the manager’s brother, revealed on the “Zach Gelb Show” that he heard “grumblings” that Judge could be back in the lineup soon. Bret Boone emphasized that his brother was not the source of the information, but he did confirm that he had not asked him about it and that Judge had not mentioned anything about his return.

Fans are eagerly anticipating any news about Judge’s return, which could happen as soon as the All-Star break.
